Set along the Oregon coast with sweeping views of the bay, Roam Tillamook reimagines the contemporary RV park as a design-forward, community-driven hospitality experience.
Developed in collaboration with Roam America, the project introduces a new architectural and landscape framework that elevates the experience of outdoor travel—whether arriving by RV, van, or into one of the site’s custom rental cabins.
At the heart of the project is a 2,000-square-foot clubhouse, conceived as a shared living space for guests. Positioned to overlook the bay, the clubhouse includes a generous common area, private bathrooms, and a sauna with direct views to the water—blending utility with a heightened sense of place. The interior, developed in collaboration with Collective Yes, is intentionally warm and residential in character—offering a level of comfort and refinement that contrasts with the transient nature of travel.
Surrounding the clubhouse, a series of modern cabins provide an alternative to traditional RV accommodations, allowing guests to engage the landscape without sacrificing design or comfort. The broader site was shaped in collaboration with Orca Living, reinforcing native planting, circulation, and gathering spaces that integrate seamlessly with the coastal environment.
The project reflects a broader shift in outdoor hospitality—where architecture, landscape, and interior design converge to create spaces that are both communal and deeply personal. Roam Tillamook is not simply a destination, but a place to pause, connect, and experience the Oregon coast through a lens of comfort, design, and community.
