Located just north of Park City and set into the rolling foothills of northern Utah, Roam Coalville redefines the modern campground as a layered, experience-driven destination—balancing outdoor adventure with elevated comfort.
Developed with Roam America, the site offers a range of accommodations, including safari tents, modern cabins, and spaces for RV and van travel—allowing guests to engage the landscape on their own terms while maintaining a consistent architectural and experiential quality.
Arrival is anchored by a welcoming check-in pavilion and expansive entry deck, establishing a strong first impression and a clear sense of place. From there, the site unfolds into a series of shared amenities designed to support both recreation and community. A central pool and pool house serve as the social heart of the campground, complemented by pickleball courts, outdoor grilling areas, and spaces for gathering—all carefully integrated into the natural topography.
At the core of the experience is a rope course woven through the campground, moving above and between the campsites to create a dynamic, family-oriented layer of activity. This elevated circulation introduces a sense of play and discovery, reinforcing the project’s focus on connection—both to the landscape and to one another.
The design embraces the spirit of camping while removing its traditional barriers—offering a place where guests can gather around a fire, spend time outdoors, and engage with nature without sacrificing comfort or ease.
Roam Coalville reflects a new model for outdoor hospitality in the Mountain West—one that is immersive, social, and intentionally designed to support both adventure and everyday ritual.
